MA from University of California, Santa Cruz
Bio:
I am interested in studying philosophy as a way of life: e.g., "what roles, if any, does philosophy play in enabling us to live well, both individually and communally?"
Outside of philosophy, I enjoy practicing qigong, rock climbing, and playing board games.
Research:
My Master's Thesis was on the role love (φιλφσις) plays in the development of a virtuous character within Aristotle's Ethics; I presented the argument that love motivates the development of virtue in unequal friendships of character.
