Congratulations to Sherri Lynn Conklin for her work with the UCSB Ethics Bowl Program!
This year she received funding from the Marc Sanders Foundation and the UCSB Humanities and Social Sciences Research Grant to support her work with High School Ethics Bowl outreach efforts. This work is part of a larger project, conducted in collaboration with the UCSC Center for Public Philosophy, under the supervision of Principal Investigators Thomas Holden (UCSB Philosophy) and Jon Ellis (UCSC Philosophy). Their 2018 project, titled "Exploring Educational Pathways through Ethics Bowl," received the $30,000.00 Engaging Humanities Grant through the UC Humanities Research Institute with supplemental funding from the Marc Sanders Foundation and the UCSB Student Initiated Projects Grant.
The project is a part of the UCSB Department of Philosophy's ongoing commitment to diversity efforts.
