Research:
I'm broadly interested in what modern research in the cognitive sciences - particularly cognitive psychology and neuroscience - can tell us about traditional questions in philosophy of mind.
Most recently, I've written about whether the notion of "mental representation" has explanatory value in cognitive science, and whether non-representational theories of the mind are possible.
