New hire starting 2018: Thomas Barrett to join faculty.

We are delighted to announce that Thomas Barrett will be joining our faculty starting Fall 2018. Barrett is currently completing his PhD at Princeton, and will spend 2017-18 as a Bersoff Fellow at New York University. He has published in the philosophy of physics, the philosophy of science, and logic, and also has interests in the history of analytic philosophy and the philosophy of mathematics.

Ethics Bowl Team wins regional championship and advances to national finals

Congratulations to the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl debate team for taking first place in the Wasatch Regional Competition and advancing to the National Finals. Go team! The winning team consists of Gabrielle Marie Balance, Preethika Santhakumar, Salim Damerdji, Laic Beugre, and Patrick Wu, coached by Sherri Conklin and David Mokriski.
