New hire starting 2017: Professor Daniel Korman to join faculty.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Daniel Korman will be joining our faculty starting Fall 2017. Korman has published widely in metaphysics and the philosophy of language, and is the author of Objects: Nothing out of the Ordinary (Oxford University Press, 2016).

Visiting Professor 2016-19 Richard McKirahan.

We are delighted to announce that Professor Richard McKirahan will be a Visiting Professor at the Department during the next three years. McKirahan is Edwin Clarence Norton Professor of Classics and Professor of Philosophy at Pomona College, the President of the Society for Ancient Greek Philosophy, and the author of numerous books and papers on Aristotle and on Pre-Socratic philosophy.
