This past weekend, UCSB's two Ethics Bowl debate teams competed at the annual regional competition hosted by UC Santa Cruz. Eighteen teams, from all over California, competed for four bids to the national competition which will be held sometime early next year. The level of competition in the qualifying round was very high this year, and, although our teams tried their best, neither team was able to qualify for the semi-finals. Our teams, UCSB 1 and UCSB 2, received 9th and 5th place, respectively. We are very proud of their hard work this season!
